Visiting Santa is yet another holiday tradition that got tweaked in 2020. However, this year, many events plan to hold in-person holiday experiences where kids can not only share what’s on their wish list, but pose for interactive photos with Santa.

As it seems likely that some families will continue to hunker down through the end of the year, plans are already being made to ensure children won't miss out on one of their favorite holiday traditions: visiting Santa Claus, live and online from any device.

"Santa is an important holiday tradition for many families but we are looking to pivot the experience for safety," said Rocell Viniard, director of marketing with Brookfield Properties. The idea, she said, is to enable a "touchless experience" with Santa.
